Open Source — Built for Hashgraph
Hashgraph has entrusted Kabila with the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of key developer tools within the official Hedera ecosystem. These are not side projects — they are production-grade tools commissioned by Hashgraph that power the developer experience on the Hedera Developer Portal.
What We Built for Hashgraph
The Hedera Developer Portal at portal.hedera.com is the central hub for developers building on Hedera. Hashgraph commissioned Kabila to engineer two critical tools within this portal, now used by developers worldwide:
- Hedera Developer Playground — An interactive coding environment that lets developers write, execute, and share Java and JavaScript code directly in the browser
- Hedera Contract Builder — A browser-based IDE for writing, compiling, deploying, and verifying Solidity smart contracts on Hedera
Both are open-source projects, developed and actively maintained by Kabila under its engagement with Hashgraph.
